AirPower is an a cappella quartet singing songs from sentimental ballads to easy-beat toe-tappers for your enjoyment. Formed in the spring of 2006, the quartet qualified to compete in the fall of that year as a semi-finalist in the Mid-Atlantic District quartet contest in Wildwood, NJ. and since won third place in the Southern Division of the Mid-Atlantic District in Reston, VA.
All men are members of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a four-part men’s singing society with its Headquarters in Nashville, TN.

Bob Wilson – Tenor – is a member of the Alexandria VA chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society where he fills several roles, including show MC and Assistant Section Leader for the chorus tenor section. Bob sang in Auld Lang Syne, a seniors quartet which won a third place bronze medal in the 2003 International Seniors Quartet Contest. Bob resides with his wife Beth and their dog Ally in Ellicott City, MD.

Brad Jones – Lead – is also a member of the Alexandria VA chapter where he is the Music and Performance Vice President. Brad sang baritone in the 2006 Mid-Atlantic District finalist quartet, Jigsaw, but is now enjoying exploring his talents as a lead singer with AirPower. Brad and his wife Adele – an avid barbershopper herself singing with the Pride of Baltimore Chorus - live in Rockville, MD – along with their son, Brandon, daughter, Victoria and 4 cats, 2 dogs, a rabbit, a hamster and a host of fish - contrary to popular belief they do not own the squirrels and deer in the back yard! |

John Hohl – Baritone – is a member of the Alexandria VA chapter and is also a member and Associate Director of the Singing Capital Chorus in the Washington DC Chapter. John is a silver and bronze quartet medalist, singing in Vaudeville, the Nova Chords, and the seniors quartet, Auld Lang Syne (with Bob Wilson). Most of the arrangements sung by AirPower were created by John. He lives in Falls Church, VA and “snowbirds” for the winter to Pompano Beach, FL. No pets allowed!

Vince Tepe – Bass – is a member and former Assistant Director of the District of Columbia chapter. Vince has sung bass in various quartet combinations with his brothers including the Mid-Atlantic District finalist quartet King’s Ransom and more recently the District qualifying quartet Capital Chord Factory. Vince lives with his wife Theresa and their two young children in Columbia, MD. Who has time for pets?
